June was a busy month for the Genisis sliding table panel saws...especially the CNC machines...

Some say that variety is the spice of life and nothing more could be said for the variety of sliding table panel saws delivered in June. Starting with the industrial rated Genisis P32, we had deliveries to a shopfitter in Poulton Le Fylde and to a packing case manufacturer in Manchester.

 The Genisis P32 has been our most popular choice when it comes to sliding table panel saws, the reason is not hard to see. It is a very high quality machine which shares many features only usually found on higher priced machines. For example, the sliding table must be one of the heaviest duty on the market being made from a heavy gauge multi chamber aluminium construction and running on solid and hardened chromed steel runners. The easy and accurate gliding system usess large diameter 'dumbell' rollers which are pretty much maintenance free and aways glide easily despite being operated in an environment prone to dust. The heavy duty cross cut fence and 2 x heavy duty flip stops are what you would normally find on far more expensive machines which is easy and accurate to set due to using clear flat scales and quality magnifiers. The latest generation of machines come with powered raise and lower of the blade (maximum blade is 400mm diameter) with the tilt being by handwheel ergonomically placed for ease of access and with LED display for the angle of the blade.

Did you know that we can also supply a CNC version of the P32 machine..? This has a colour touch screen control mounted at eye level where you can operate;

  • raise and lower of the main blade
  • raise and lower of the scorer
  • lateral adjustment of the scorer
  • tilting of the sawblade
  • movement of the 1300mm rip fence

This machine was delivered and commissioned to a customer in Scotland who had already purchased one of our Genisis 512S edge banding machines in 2016.

June also saw the delivery of 2 x X3 Plus CNC sliding table panel saws. The X series of machines are of very heavy construction and are designed to go into environments where they are to be used 8 hours + every day. The X3 Plus is the heavy duty version of the P32 3h machines with the same CNC controls, however the X3 Plus has larger support tables and a 1500mm motorised rip fence. The machines delivered to customers in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and Wirral, Merseyside.

We introduced the Genisis sliding table panel saws back in 2006 and since then there have been over 120 machines delivered and commissioned throughout the UK including Northern Ireland, Scotland,  Wales.....a few years ago, we even supplied a machine for the United Nations which was shipped to Lebanon which was to be used as part of the country's rebuilding and modernisation process.
