W14 'Working  With Wood' is being held from Sunday 5th til Wednesday 8th October at the Birmingham NEC.

The 'W' series of exhibitions (formerly known as Woodmex) are the UK's largest bi annial exhibition of Industrial wood working machinery where you can see what the Uk's machinery suppliers have to offer.

Once again, we will be there and we would like to invite you onto stand 7G780 where we will have a number of machines on display, some of which will be premiered at a UK exhibition for the very first time...!

Kundig

On display will be examples of the ever popular Premium wide belt sander along with an example of the Brilliant series of machine which is suitable for solid wood, veneer and lacquer sanding (de nibbing). These machines will be demonstrated to see the ease of use and the Brilliant will show the advantages of oblique sanding technology.

Also on display will be 3 models of edge sander which are especially popular with the solid wood furniture makers.

OMC

If you are looking for a quality heated press, you must see the machine from OMC. This machine is manufactured in Italy with the super strength frame being rated at 200 tons and manufactured using structurally graded steel (fe430). The actual pressure of this machine is 160 tons and has a 10ft x 5ft capacity (3100 x 1550mm). The machine combines todays technology with heavy duty traditional engineering and is complete with a touch screen control which offers a number of functions including automatic daily/weekly pre heating, calculation of pressure if only part loading the machine, pressing time cycle, temperatiure control and the possibility to exclude the outside cylinders hwen only part loading.

Genisis 512S Edge Bander

This machine has caused quite a storm in the machinery industry...why...?? Because it is a quality hot melt edge banding machine, suitable for applying coil fed materials upto 3mm in thickness, has pre milling, combined top and bottom flush/end trim/corner rounding station, top and bottom scraper, solvent cleaners and buffing....along with a colour touch screen control....all for just £12,500 + vat...!! (for a limited time only).

This machine will be on demonstration.

Genisis Briquetters

We have been selling these briquette machines since 2008 and have a number of installations around the country including machines which are processing wood waste, paper, cardboard,leather dust....and even teabags..! There are some 15 models in the range to choose from, all of which are built in Italy and all of which are designed for industrial use. Across the range the machines are fitted with a Siemens colour touch screen control and are fitted with a load detection sensor to allow the machines to work in an automatic cycle.

On display will be the most popular traditional E55 machine.

 

Along with the Vertical E60 Super which has a productivity of up to 100 Kg/h (dependent upon the waste being processed) and is specifically designed to make it easier to fit directly beneath a dust extraction system. This machine also benefits from an auger feed to transfer the waste into the compaction chamber and having a sensor which detects the length of briquette produced, then automatically compensates the amount of waste being fed into the compaction chamber to maintain a consistent size of briquette, so there is no manual adjustment for different waste types.

Genisis P32 Panel Saw

We introduced the Genisis sliding table panel saws into the UK back in 2007 and since then, despite the down turn in the economy we have almost 100 machines working around the country.

On display will be an example of the most popular machine, the industrial rated Genisis P32 which shares many characteristics only found on machines costing twice as much. The sliding table is of multi chamber construction for strength and rigidity, the runners are from solid, hardened and chromed steel and the rollers are large diameter 'dumb bell' style which are not affected by working in a dusty atmosphere and always ensure an easy gliding motion of the heavy duty sliding table. The 2 x heavy duty cross cut fence stops incorporate self lubricating bushes to ensure long term accuracy and have clear magnifiers making the flat scales easy and accurate to set.
